Paragon Vest Sdn Bhd is an established trading company that has been a brand licensing distributor for international brands in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Brunei since 1993.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Shah Alam for an Account and Administrative Manager. As an Account and Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative activities of the office, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining records and files, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will also be responsible for leading the administrative team, managing communication with internal and external stakeholders, and providing support to the leadership team as needed.

Accounting

Oversee the daily accounting and financial, to ensure the smooth running of the departments in order to support the business operation.

To monitor, guide, supervise, review and verify work done by accounting and administration staff to ensure accounting records and systems comply with approved accounting standards, and statutory & tax requirements.

Responsible for credit control and cash flow.

Prepare accounting forecast for tax review, revision and submission.

Ensure all activities related to AR, AP, and GL functions are maintained in proper order and up to date.

Produce monthly branches and service department profit and loss statements.

Prepare companies monthly and yearly management accounts including stock list.

Other financial and analytical reports as required.

Initiate year-end stock take and audit process.

Liaise with auditor, tax agent, secretary and bankers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support or office management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and software systems.
  • Experience in managing a team and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
