Responsibility:
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities for the full set of accounts (AP, AR, General ledger, bank reconciliation, etc.) in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Verify, validate, and match all received documents, ensuring that all accounting transactions are promptly and accurately updated.
- Validate invoices, payments, and expenses to ensure accuracy before obtaining approval for payment. Prepare payment voucher, process online payments, handle term loan and hire purchase installment payments in a timely manner.
- Manage outstanding debtors and creditors. Follow up, identify, and update the accounts with long outstanding balances and problematic invoices to the Superior/Manager. collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Ensure proper filing, maintenance, and completeness of accounting documentation and records.
- Handle any necessary general accounting administration tasks if required, undertake assigned tasks, ad-hoc assignments, and related duties as directed by the manager.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a minimum LCCI or Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year working experience in a related field.
- Preferably Mandarin speaking candidates.
- Required Skill(s): MS Excel, MS Work, MS PowerPoint.
- Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Mandarin.
- Honest, self-motivated, positive, and responsible character.
- Able to work independently and a good team player.
