Uniworld owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Nautical Team we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional in the role of:
2nd Captain
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Navigating the ship according to guidelines and safety regulations of the company
- Responsibility for safety equipment and safety regulations on board
- Maintenance of our ships during the season and in winter time
- Being a team leader of the deck crew, report to the first captain
You
- Have experience in similar role on Rhine-Main-Danube
- Have experience with Z-Drive systems (is not a must)
- Have at least license for the Rhine until Mainz and/or Danube
- Are innovative, flexible and proactive leader and team player
- Have ability to communicate and conduct business fluently in German and/or English
- Have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You are willing to learn and grow in your role
